Functional coatings

We can produce various types of functional coatings on almost any substrate. Numerous combinations are possible within all engineering materials, i.e. metals, polymers, ceramics and composites, and we are limited only by our imagination. We can start the process with already-defined materials or try to select them for a well-defined application.

Due to the unique features of Cold Spray technology, which distinguish it from other techniques belonging to the thermal spraying group, it is possible to create a wide range of coatings on various substrates. Applying metal on metal may not be extraordinary, but it gets interesting if we do it at relatively low temperatures, well below their melting point. Why not coat an aluminium component with copper and use its excellent electrical and thermal conductivity? We also have a unique experience with spraying thermoplastic polymers onto composite substrates.

We can produce conductive metallic coatings of, for example, copper or aluminium on materials that are inherently insulators, such as polymers, polymer composites or ceramics. We can produce anti-corrosion coatings on other environmentally sensitive substrates. At the same time, our Cold Spray kinetic spraying system is mobile, and we can perform our service directly at your location. We are also not limited by the surface of the substrate as long as there is direct access to it.
